I often don't know how to define myself. At many moments, expression doesn't seem entirely allowed. Is it like this for everyone? We are all trying to be normal, to be composed— yet within that composure, I feel a sense of displacement, of fracture. Those things that are called "design"— to me, they feel more like imitation, like repeated attempts to move closer to what is considered "right." But "rightness" itself feels empty. It is complete, yet it does not belong to me. Perhaps what I need now is to step away from what is "right," and move toward what has not yet been named— the chaotic, the unstable, the difficult to explain. Somewhere within that space, a form of expression that truly belongs to me might begin to emerge.
To think is to resist. To design is to respond.

[ABOUT_ME_SYSTEM] - Interactive exploration of interests that inform design research
This personal map showcases the activities, interests, and experiences that shape my design thinking. Each interest connects to how I observe material, body, movement, and perception in fashion design.
Tap on each interest to learn more about its connection to design research.
Interested in collaboration, PhD supervision, or fashion & sportswear design opportunities? I would love to hear from you.
This video presents my research perspective on the relationships between body, material, and movement. It documents my approach to design as a continuous investigation of how materials respond to forces, and how bodies are transformed through structural interaction.
